Seashells

I asked E if he wanted to go looking for seashells with me along the beach. "Yes!" he said and took off. The first one he found he proudly showed me, then threw it as far as he could back into the sea. I guess that's as good a thing to do with them as any.

Greedy mama

E wakes up from a nap and he's all bright-eyed and still sleepy. Nostalgic for his baby days, I ask for a hug, he gives me a kiss instead. He's leaving the room and I ask again, and his response: "You already had a kiss already."
